CP67 Mall unveils ‘Pind Di Goonj’, the grandest 17-day Baisakhi festival in Tricity
Mohali, April, 13, 2025: CP67 Mall in Mohali, a project by Unity Homeland Group, has turned up the festive cheer to celebrate the vibrant spirit of Punjab with ‘Pind Di Goonj’, a 17-day Baisakhi Celebration Extravaganza from April 11th to April 27th. With an explosion of vibrant colours, culture and community, the Mall has lined-up exhilarating activities for the Tricity while encapsulating Punjab’s traditions, music, and cuisine, all under one roof.
The festival kicked-off with a Baisakhi Mela showcasing puppet shows, group dance competitions on Punjabi folk songs, a live flute performance, and high-energy crowd interactions led by an anchor. The Mela continued as the mall came alive to the tunes of live Boliyan, Malwai Gidda by an 8-member troupe, tongue twister games, and open dance performances on the second day.
Amongst the highlights of the 17-day Baisakhi festival, the Mall will offer live performances from Sufi Sensation, Kanwar Grewal and Lyricist-Singer, Harf Cheema creating an enthralling cultural atmosphere for the people. Master Puppeteer Vikram Bhat showcase a one-of-a-kind “Do Hand” puppet show, with immersive soundscapes — a rare treat for families and culture lovers. Additionally, International Gold Medalist Nirvair Khalsa will showcase Gatka Martial Arts displaying the power and legacy of Sikh martial tradition. Other than cultural events, food enthusiasts will be able to witness an exclusive food tasting competition judged by the Executive Chef from 5-start hotel, The Lalit.
